The client is a US-based chip manufacturer specializing in the production of high-precision semiconductor components. They inquired through their website, requiring a customized air shower to address dust and static electricity hazards associated with personnel entering and exiting the cleanroom. The air shower also needed to meet North American electronics industry safety and cleanliness standards and accommodate the high-frequency personnel movement in the workshop.
We customized a 304 stainless steel intelligent air shower specifically for the client's needs. Its core configuration precisely matches their requirements: It features a high-pressure vortex blowing system with a 99.99% dust removal efficiency for 0.3μm particles, thoroughly removing dust adhering to clothing and personal items; a built-in anti-static grounding module and ion nozzles effectively neutralize static electricity, eliminating the risk of electrostatic discharge damaging chips; and it meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 anti-static standards, fully complying with US electronics industry access requirements.
Meanwhile, the product design was optimized, reducing the single-person air shower time to 12 seconds. Combined with infrared sensor-based automatic start/stop functionality, it does not affect production line efficiency. The machine structure was fine-tuned according to the customer's cleanroom doorway dimensions to achieve seamless installation. After delivery, the equipment has operated stably, effectively helping the customer maintain ISO Class 6 standards in their cleanroom and significantly reducing product defect rates caused by dust and static electricity.
